Industrial Validation Engineer - Procurement Supply Chain

Grafton Recruitment are supporting a large global manufacturer to recruit a NPI Procurement Engineer who will sit in the supply chain team evaluating and validating suppliers capabilities and managing delivery of materials to new products being introduced.

Details:

- 9 month contract (possible extension)

- Based Bolton or Stevenage (Hybrid 1/2 days in office). Travel to suppliers in UK and internationally

- Rate: £35 - £40/hour inside IR35

Requirements:

- Background in manufacturing engineering and supplier management

- Track record in New Product Introduction, on quality, time, cost.

- Experience of Production Readiness Reviews and Failure Mode & Effects Analysis

- Strong supplier and project management skills

- Ideally with experience of aerospace or defence sectors, and certainly experience of technical product manufacturing.
