Cornell Search is working with a growing Venture Capital fund active across various tech sectors, including B2B software and fintech. The fund empowers visionary entrepreneurs at the forefront of successful early to growth-stage companies across Europe and the US.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Chief of Staff/ Founders Associate to join our client's dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in the ongoing growth and development of the fund by supporting the GP across a wide range of activities including but not limited to, strategic fund initiatives, operational efficiency/project management, and investor and client relations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the GP with driving a wide range of strategic projects.
• Lead operational initiatives as well as make informed decisions based on data and analysis.
• Support the Investment team throughout various stages of the deal process.
• Prepare various communications, including reports, presentations, and fund updates.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across all levels of the business.
• Represent the fund at networking events, conferences, and meetings.

Qualifications

• 5+ years top-tier consulting experience.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to drive initiatives with a certain level of autonomy between decision points.
• Ideally this individual will have demonstrable experience in a start-up or entrepreneurial environment and understand the nuances and challenges faced in this environment.
• Strong analytical skills and financial acumen.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with entrepreneurs and investors.
• A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency/Native English is essential. Proficiency in Spanish is advantageous.
