Client Development Officer Associate (Loans Agency Sales Role)

About the Role

This role is designed for an ambitious professional with a background in Global Capital Markets (GCM), looking to transition into a client-facing sales role. You will work closely with the Loan Agency, Structured Products, and M&A administration teams, gaining valuable experience before progressing to a full-time sales position where you will then be rewarded by commission.

Key Responsibilities

As you develop in the role, you will:

• Build a deep understanding of the bank's Global Capital Markets products and services.
• Conduct needs analysis for clients and prospects, identifying viable solutions.
• Develop and maintain a prospect list to generate new business opportunities.
• Foster relationships with clients, influencers, and prospects to expand the client base.
• Stay up-to-date with market trends, identifying opportunities for new products as needed.
• Shadow experienced sales personnel to gain insights into the GCM sales process.
• Log all sales activities using the banks contact management system.
• Adhere to the bank's risk management and regulatory standards, escalating any concerns.
• Promote an inclusive work environment that reflects the banks core values.

Skills and Experience Required

• Exposure to Capital Markets transactions, such as Loan Agency, Structured Finance, or M&A trustee services.
• A proven desire to move from Ops / MO into an front office sales role.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proven ability to conduct needs analysis and understand client requirements.
