We're Hiring: Cloud Architect (Contractor - Inside IR35)

Airswift is looking for a talented Cloud Architect to join our client's dynamic team focused on shaping their AWS cloud environment. In this role, you will review and optimize their cloud infrastructure, ensuring alignment with their goals of scalability, security, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Product Owners, Technical Leads, and Lead Developers to analyse requirements and design scalable, secure solutions.
• Define and document standards and patterns within the Reference Architecture, developing templates and best practices.
• Participate in Architecture and Solution Design Reviews to assess compliance with business objectives and industry standards.
• Stay updated on the latest technology trends and leverage resources like the AWS Well-Architected Framework to drive innovation.

Requirements:

• Expertise in AWS, microservices, API-led architecture, and container networking design patterns.
• Experience in fast-paced environments, particularly in retail or similar industries, focusing on performance and scalability.
• Proven track record in leading complex architectural designs and hands-on experience as a Solution Architect.
• A solid understanding of Enterprise IT infrastructure and user experience design for customer-facing systems.
• Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams, mentoring less experienced members.
