Job Description
Purpose of the Role:
The Strategic Sourcing Manager is responsible for leading and managing sourcing initiatives that deliver optimal value. This role builds strong working relationships with stakeholders and the supply market while ensuring quality, value for money, regulatory compliance, and effective commercial partnerships.

Task List:
- Lead the sourcing process for procurement projects, contributing to key business objectives in areas like Construction, IT, or Professional Services.
- Challenge and shape business requirements using market and supplier insights.
- Develop innovative sourcing strategies aligned with business goals.
- Manage multiple sourcing initiatives through effective project management.
Customer Service:
- Promote best practices across the procurement lifecycle.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, fostering engagement at senior levels.
- Deliver excellent customer service and drive continuous improvement in processes.
Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with procurement regulations, including data protection and other statutory requirements.
- Lead supplier selection and qualification processes to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
Health, Safety & Wellbeing:
- Embed health, safety, and wellbeing standards in sourcing strategies.
- Ensure thorough risk assessment and supplier qualification to mitigate contract risks.
