Accounts Assistant - Temporary

Hutcheon Mearns is delighted to partner with an organisation who have taken the market by storm with their new and innovative products on their search for an Accounts Assistant based in Edinburgh. This role will be involved in with Accounts Payable and Receivables while also assisting with month-end duties when required.

The Opportunity

Our client has taken their market by storm due to creating brand new innovative products that has been seen as a revelation by many. In this role, you be working alongside the current finance team to support with month-end and management accounts whiles also owning the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables. This role will be an on-going temporary contract. Within this role you'll be involved in but not limited to;

• Preparing invoices


• Reconciling company accounts, including credit cards and expenses


• Chasing debtors


• Reconciling supplier statements


• Answering any queries


• Supporting with month-end duties


• Payment runs

Background and Experience

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in an office environment, particularly within a Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable role. Proficiency in Excel and finance systems is essential.

Flexibility and Benefits

The role of Accounts Assistant is offering the following package:

• 25,000 to 28,000 per annum (depending on experience)


• Hybrid work

The office is located in Edinburgh City Centre and is easily available via public transport.
