Contract Length: 18-Month Day Rate Contract

Overview:

Our client, undergoing large-scale transformation programmes, is looking for a Senior Procurement Manager with Security Clearance to lead complex procurement activities. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in regulated procurement environments, particularly in public sector or defence industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Procurement Strategy: Develop robust assessment models, create procurement schedules, and produce Invitations to Tender (ITT).
• Supplier Engagement: Engage with the marketplace to refine and agree on procurement strategies.
• Procurement Execution: Manage the entire tender process, including launching the ITT, responding to tender queries, and managing the evaluation process.
• Contract Award Recommendation: Produce a detailed recommendation report for governance and approval.

Required Skillset:

• Procurement Experience: Extensive experience in managing large, complex procurements, particularly within the public sector or defence industry (e.g. BAE Systems, Thales, Rolls-Royce).
• Regulated Environment: Must have worked in procurement within a regulated environment, ensuring compliance with all necessary rules and regulations.
• Self-Starter: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently, taking the initiative to drive procurement processes forward.
• Active Security Clearance
