Job Description
Job Title: Full-Time SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
Location: Chelmsford
Hourly Rate: £14 per hour
Contract: Full-Time
About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to support students aged 16-20 at our Chelmsford campus. The role involves providing tailored assistance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to help them succeed in their studies.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one and group support to students aged 16-20 with SEN
Assist with learning activities and classroom tasks
Help develop learning materials tailored to individual needs
Support the teaching staff in monitoring and assessing student progress
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environmentJob Requirements:
Previous experience working with students with SEN is essential
Must have a valid DBS certificate registered on the Update Service
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a team and independently
Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting students' growth
