Software Engineer

We’ve partnered with a leading Manchester tech company to help support the growth of one of their engineering teams with an aspiring senior developer or a top end mid to work remotely on some exciting new projects.

The people are at the heart of this company, nominated for multiple awards for their service and a low staff turnover to support this. The owner is a techie, he’s always investing in that area of the business and with a 70 strong engineering function you’d be joining a really interesting place.

Predominantly you will be focussed on automation opportunities (System automation, not testing) within the customer assurance space, servicing customers’ needs by creating a solution in which saves both your colleagues & the customers time. As a senior in the team, you’ll be responsible for making technical decisions, setting quality standards, pushing best practice and setting an example for the less experienced developers.

Skills:

• .Net8, .Net Core, C#
• AWS, Serverless, CI/CD
• Awareness of front end (Node.js, TypeScript, React.js)
• TDD
• Azure DevOps
