About The Role
Team – IT Optimisation - Software Asset Management
Working Pattern - Hybrid – 2 days per week in the Vitality Bournemouth Office. Full time, 35 hours per week.

What this role is all about:
This exciting new role supports the Software Asset Management Function with the development of centralised processes for the management of technology software assets. You will ensure accurate compliance of software, responding to both vendor and internal audits, complete effective license positions and handling user queries.
Key Actions
Preparing and optimising effective licence positions for a major complex vendor
Developing and maintaining Asset Management tooling and databases
Ensuring accurate reporting of vendor compliance
Developing optimised vendor licence positions
You will work with the wider Asset Management Team to correctly identify software products that have been discovered within the Vitality estate
Process Proof of Entitlement to manually match to applications, where automatic reconciliation is not possible
Reviewing and importing new purchase information from third party systems into SAM tooling
Qualifying and verifying all data sources required for SAM processing
Essential Skills needed to fulfil this role:
Delivery of effective licence positions within a Software Asset Management capacity for minimum of 3 years
You will have a good working knowledge of complex licensing for at least one major vendor such as Microsoft, Oracle
Knowledge of emerging technologies and associated licensing models
Experience analysing and preparing effective license positions
In depth experience with at least one SAM tool (e.g. Snow, Flexera, License Optimizer, Xensam)
