GSL Education is seeking a dedicated SEMH Teacher to join a supportive school community in Barnet. This is a rewarding opportunity for a committed teacher passionate about working with students who have Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
Your Role:
As an SEMH Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering tailored and engaging lessons that support the academic and emotional development of students facing challenging circumstances. Your key focus will be to create a positive learning environment and provide behaviour management strategies to ensure each student can thrive.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience with Challenging Behaviour: The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing challenging behaviours, ideally within an SEN school setting.
Passion for SEN Education: A deep commitment to supporting students with special educational needs, particularly those with SEMH.
Patience and Adaptability: Ability to stay calm in demanding situations and adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
