Job Description
Role: Technical Coordinator
Reporting to: Technical Manager
Based: Newhaven Office Based (flexibility for Hybrid working after probation period)
Holiday: 25 days per year + Bank Holidays

The Role
Support the technical manager in the delivery of projects and assist in cross-functional resilience to the organisation, improving our product, value and customer experience.
Job role:
* Maintain Viewpoint for projects on assigned projects.
* Prepare detailed design programmes with the support of the technical manager.
* Agree scopes and appoint external consultants.
* Lead design team meetings during design development stages from 3-7 and deliver design information with the agreed design programme.
* Submit Building Control Applications and monitor and maintain building control trackers on assigned projects to full approval with all required technical submissions.
* Monitor and Maintain Building Warranty trackers on assigned projects to full approval with all required technical submissions.
* Review design information for technical compliance to building regulations and warranty requirements and ensure stakeholder approval is achieved ahead of construction.
* Respond to RFI schedule from construction and commercial teams in a timely manner on assigned projects.
* Visit site weekly when required to ensure site related design and detailing issues are resolved in a timely manner.
* Coordinate drawings and work to ensure not scope gaps in design or construction occur.
* Deliver project status at any moment and able to host, attend and be useful in the delivery of projects in person and teams meetings and site meetings.
Requirements / Desirables:
* Technical Design experience – either from a consultancy or developer/main contracting background.
* Developer and main contractor experience.
* Able to be part of a diverse and dynamic team and add to our communication and culture.
* Resilient, driven, future-focused, conscientious, reliable, creative and flexible.
* Be able to run or step up to be responsible for design and technical function of our developments with the support of the department manager.
* Ability to travel to assigned sites with personal car (UK Drivers License Required)
