Residential Property Associate Solicitor

My client is looking to expand its Southampton Real Estate team and is currently seeking talented candidates for the role of Residential Property Associate.

The team serves a diverse client base, including private buyers and sellers from the UK and abroad, and is a trusted partner for many leading mortgage lenders.

As the successful candidate, you will handle a variety of tasks related to the purchase and sale of freehold and leasehold properties.

Your role will involve:

• Reviewing, drafting and amending contracts, deeds, letters and reports
• Completing search submissions and land registry formalities, researching titles and addressing related queries
• Managing the process of exchange, completion and post-completion
• Advising on financial aspects such as mortgage redemption, transfer of equity and re-mortgage processes
• Handling residential tenancy and licence issues
• Providing guidance on residential property transactions for new developments
• Managing secured lending work
