Senior Engineer - Asset Manager

Our client, a leader in the defence sector, is currently seeking three experienced Senior Engineers - Pre-Operations to join their team on a contract basis in Barrow-in-Furness. This is an exciting opportunity for professionals skilled in asset management to contribute to critical projects within the defence industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting the development of integration strategies and through-life management plans
Liaising with key stakeholders within the project and end user teams
Supporting the integration of new assets and infrastructure into site business management systems
Implementing post-handover asset management arrangements
Maintaining production and validation of working level instructions
Supporting the development of operations, maintenance, and asset management strategies

Job Requirements:

Experience in asset management within the defence sector
Proven ability to liaise effectively with key stakeholders
Understanding of integration and through-life management plans for infrastructure and assets
Proficiency in post-handover asset management
Strong ability to produce and validate working-level instructions
Experience developing operations, maintenance, and asset management strategies
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work 2-3 days a week on site in Barrow-in-Furness
