Mechanical / Construction Superintendent

We’re seeking a highly skilled Mechanical/Construction Superintendent to join our client’s team for a full-time 37.5 hour per week, 6 to 12-month contract based in Billingham.

As Mechanical/Construction Superintendent, you’ll play a crucial role in overseeing construction projects, ensuring they’re completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.

You will be:

Supervising and managing all aspects of mechanical and construction operations on-site
Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals are met
Conducting regular inspections and assessments of construction sites
Providing guidance and support to construction teams and subcontractors
Monitoring project progress and report on any issues or delays
You will need:

Proven experience as a Mechanical/Construction Superintendent or similar role
Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
