£12 P/H - £14 P/H
We are looking for a motivated panel wirer to join a market leading company. Reporting directly to the engineering manager you will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running. You will be involved in all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance within their operation. With progressive training and development this company is always is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team of engineers. The position will appeal to a strong engineer looking for their next challenging role within in a secure and stable company.
Role Description
Working with single and three phase;
Previous use and experience with hand tools;
Minor Soldering;
You must be able to understand electrical drawings;
Installations of large electrical control cabinets;
Attention to detail;
Working to schematic drawings;
Good communication skills and an understanding of verbal and written English;
Dealing with high and low volume wiring assemblies;
Excellent attendance levels and attitude;
Control panel experience is essential;
Fault finding and repair;
Previous panel wiring and site installation experience is essential;
Fitting electrical control panels;
Little amount of producing looms
Skills and Qualifications
Working from a set of schematic and layout drawings;
Fit, wire, build and assemble power distribution units;
Fit electrical components and electrical wiring working from schematics and drawings;
Using hand tools and pneumatic tools.
