Assistant Quantity Surveyor

As part of their continued expansion, they are looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join the team where you will be involved in supporting the team from project inception through to completion, including:

• Drafting of valuations, invoices, and sub-contract orders
• Drafting internal reports i.e., cash flows
• Providing cost reports to the project team
• Undertaking regular site visits to engage with site teams and monitoring progress
• Engaging with clients and subcontractors
• Gathering and processing information for any additional works

Applicants are likely to have some work experience in the Construction industry, supported with a relative HNC and/or A levels. You will be proactively looking to develop a career in Quantity Surveying and willing to undertake further qualifications as required. You will be working in a fast paced, deadline driven environment, so a good work ethic and communication skills are essential. Travelling to site will be required as part of this role so you need to have a full driving license and access to transport.
