Solar Energy Generation Project Development Manager - Paris

Job Overview:

My client is one of the fastest-growing companies in the European large-scale solar energy market. As they continue to expand rapidly, they are looking for a Project Development Manager.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop industrial-scale renewable energy projects as part of the development team.
  • Manage the permit acquisition process, including communication with local authorities and other public entities.
  • Engage with landowners to negotiate land lease agreements and easements.
  • Verify project feasibility by assessing land suitability, environmental conditions, and spatial planning.
  • Oversee external service providers involved in project development.
  • Collect relevant information and prepare required reports.

Requirements:

  • A higher education degree, preferably in real estate, spatial planning, environmental protection, or energy-related disciplines.
  • Over 4 years of experience in a similar role, with a preference for experience in wind project development.
  • Practical understanding of investment processes, particularly in spatial planning law, construction law, and energy law.
  • Strong knowledge of real estate matters.
  • A valid Category B driving license.
  • Willingness to engage in fieldwork.

Note: Eligibility to work in the EU is required.
