Senior Water Treatment engineer - Nanterre

We are hiring for one of our clients, a leader company in Oil and Gas sector, a Senior Water treatment Engineer

Position based in Nanterre

Sector: Oil & Gas

Employment type: Contract Hire

Location: Nanterre, Paris, France

Contract Duration: 9 months

Status: Resident

Main Qualifications:

The services to be performed by The SUBCONTRACTOR require the following skills and experience:

- Field of experience in Industries, specialized in Water Treatment - Minimum required experience in this domain is 8 - 10 years.

- Field of experience in water treatment technologies such as Electrochlorination, cooling water, potable and service water, effluent collection, etc…

- Knowledge of softwares : LPLWin, WAVE, OLI or equivalent

- Experience in process engineering design is mandatory

- Experience of process engineers team management is welcome

Main responsibilities:

The subcontractor will be working with 1 to 2 junior Water Treatment engineers, and will perform the following tasks, under the supervision of the Water Treatment Units Process Lead:

• Review of PFD, PID and other process deliverables developed by Junior Engineer

• Review of datasheets of equipment developed by Junior Engineer

• Participation to Reviews (PFD/PID, HazOp, 3D Model, etc)

• Review of Vendors technical proposals

• Interface with Client

For the following units:

- Electrochlorination Unit

- Potable and service water unit

- Desalinated water storage and pumping

- Site drainage: collection and transfer of run-off waters
