Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a diligent and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in West Babylon.

Responsibilities include:

• Work well as a member of a team as well as individually under the direction of the Director of Maintenance


• Perform preventive building engineering maintenance duties such as: plumbing, electrical, construction, HVAC, mechanical, etc.


• Coordinate daily maintenance services with supervisor when performing routine assignment in resident living areas.


• Assist with other related maintenance duties as necessary or as directed by supervisor


• Ensure that the facility and its equipment is properly maintained for resident comfort and convenience

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year maintenance experience


• Detail orientated


• Basic understanding and experience in plumbing, electrical, construction, HVAC, mechanical


• Ability to troubleshoot and perform annual preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment as directed
