Up to £47,000 dependent on experience.

Our client in Wellingborough is seeking a Software Developer to join their engineering and logistics company which supports the entire product lifecycle, right from the original design input, all the way to technical assistance, as well as product repair, replacement and refurbishment programs.

Our client requires someone to work on a permanent full-time basis. You would be required to travel to site (Wellingborough or Milton Keynes) for the first few months before moving into a hybrid working pattern.

In this role you will be tasked with:

Providing support, maintenance and changing of exiting software applications.
Developing new applications and providing maintenance under C#/ASP.NET and MVC.
Creating technical documentation
Technical conception and implementation of GUIs
Conversion of business requirements into technical specifications
Participation within projects and supporting specialist departments.
Test case creation, database modelling as well as the execution of software tests.

Do you have the following?

Completion of a Computer Science course or equivalent.
Great knowledge of software development with C#/.NET and in web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/Angular, Webservices and Responsive Webdesign.
Intermediate database skills (SQL structural query language, database design, master/slave, MS SQL, Oracle, MS SQL or MariaDB).
Knowledgeable in writing high quality code and testing for quality with unit, integration and acceptance tests.
Strong knowledge of JavaScript and experience with jQuery and handling of AJAX.
Proficient in one or more popular JavaScript framework e.g. Angular.
Advanced skills in HTML5, CSS3, responsive design and creation of cross browser compatible applications.
