Salary: £30,000 - £46,525 (MPS/UPS)

GSL Education are currently partnering with a SEN school in Blandford, in the pursuit of a dynamic and dedicated full-time SEN Teacher, with a vacancy for January, but there is scope to start immediately too!

The all-through school, catering for primary and secondary aged students. The school supports students who have been excluded from mainstream education for a variety of reasons. It emphasises the importance of collaboration between staff, students, parents, and management for success. About the Role:
As a SEN Teacher you will provide accessible and inclusive education for students, working with numerous support staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver dynamic lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students with SEN
Provide individualised support and guidance to students, promoting their academic and personal development
Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals to create comprehensive support plans for students with SEN
Maintain accurate records of student progress and development, ensuring that all necessary documentation is up to date
Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and carers, promoting effective communication and collaboration
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification in SEN education
Previous experience of working in a SEN school setting
Strong understanding of different SEN needs and effective strategies for supporting students
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents
Dedication to promoting inclusion and equality in education
