Junior Planner – RC Frame and Groundworks

£30,000 - £50,000 + Benefits

Our client is a leading UK-based construction company specialising in reinforced concrete frames, groundworks, and piling. Our client has a turnover of over £100 million per annum. Expertise spans a wide range of commercial and residential projects, from large-scale developments to much smaller complex projects. Values vary from £5m - £50m.
About the opportunity
* Assist in the development of detailed construction programs for RC frame and groundwork packages.
* Create and maintain resource plans, including labor, equipment, and materials.
* Analyse project schedules to identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans.
* Collaborate with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors to ensure effective planning and execution.
* Monitor project progress and update schedules accordingly.
* Prepare and analyse progress reports, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
* Assist in the procurement process for materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of planning tools and processes.
About the requirements
* Strong understanding of RC frame and groundwork construction processes.
* Proficiency in planning and scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
* Construction related education (BSc/MSc)

Salary range of £30,000 - £50,000 per annum.
