£16.73 per hour
OVERVIEW
Improve each client’s quality of life and promoting and maintaining independent living for themselves and any dependents they may have.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Under the direction of the Service Manager, to line manage, lead motivate and support the team at Sutton DA Service.
* Create a culture of continuous improvement, with a focus on evidence, evaluation and quality assurance.
* Deliver a service that is both outcomes based and person-centred.
* Ensure the service is delivered in a co-produced and trauma informed environment openly recognising the expertise of service users.
* Deliver operationally against contractual and organisational KPIs
* Deliver services that are safe, complying with all relevant health and safety policies and legislation.
* Ensure that all service and client information is appropriately recorded and shared in line with policy, legislation and good practice.
* Ensure comprehensive and accurate reporting is in place and lead on data due diligence and internal and external reporting.
* To participate in the recruitment, induction, supervision, annual appraisal and (if required) the performance management of the staff team.
* Ensure a commitment to personal development within the team.
* Manage disciplinary and grievance procedures and good practice guides.
* Provide expert knowledge of domestic abuse and VAWG and understanding the needs of women, children and men fleeing DA.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
* Experience of working with people with a range of different support needs, aspirations for their future and associated risks.
* Experience of delivering high quality Accommodation-based/Outreach support services to people with a range of needs and risks.
* Good knowledge of welfare benefits and housing options and legislation related to statutory duty.
* Good understanding of the range of issues, diagnoses, and treatment relevant to the client group including mental health and substance misuse.
* Commitment to equal opportunities and to promoting service users’ rights, privacy, dignity, choice and control.
* Ability to travel throughout Sutton and other Boroughs.
* Previous experience of using computer-based systems to accurately record work any service user details.
* Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding issues and ability to address them appropriately Schedule 9 (1a) of the Equality Act 2010 applies to this position
