Job Description
Are you a Qualified Science Teacher who is looking for a new and exciting role?

TeacherActive is thrilled to be working with several secondary schools across West Yorkshire who are looking to recruit Qualified Science Teachers. There are a variety of roles available, from full-time permanent positions to day-to-day supply cover. The role includes working with Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, helping them prepare for their GCSE’s under the supervision of the Department Head.
The successful Science Teacher must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have previous experience teaching KS3 and KS4 students. The ideal applicant will have a good knowledge of the National Curriculum, and will be able to create an engaging classroom environment.
The successful Science Teacher will:
Previous experience teaching Science at GCSE level
A passion for teaching and a commitment to student success
Excellent strategies for classroom management and managing challenging behaviour.
