Position Overview:
Our client Consilium Contracting Services are an extremely fast-paced, 24/7 Multi-Trade contracting company based in Paisley, Renfrewshire, operating in and around the West Coast of Scotland. The company primarily works in the public sector, managing social housing stock for Housing Associations and Councils, and also serves private domestic homes. Due to continued success, they are looking to add a Reactive Maintenance Painter & Decorator to their team.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with Housing Associations/Local Authorities and should be a team player with the ability to work independently. The company handles over 2,500 jobs each month, ranging from small repairs to larger void works, all managed under strict KPIs.
Key Responsibilities:
*
General painting works in void properties, ranging from partial to full decorations
*
Painting and decorating as part of kitchen, bathroom, and hallway/corridor upgrades in tenanted and care/respite homes
*
Performing general repairs such as painting bannisters, skirtings, windows, coving, and touch-up maintenance in tenanted and care homes
*
General decoration work, including wallpaper removal and wallpapering as required
*
Occasional out-of-hours work and overtime to meet deadlines
Expectations:

Complete full 8-hour workdays, with start and finish times monitored
*
Ethical and moral work standards are expected—"a fair day’s pay for a fair day’s work"
*
Proper care and maintenance of the company-provided van and equipment
