Job Description
BI Analyst (Contract)
My client is leading organisation in the Housing market and have an urgent requirement for a BI Analyst, who's a specialist in Power BI reporting.
This will be an initial 4 month project, initial focusing on a new system project input - Collection of baseline information for performance framework, then going on to developing meaning reports using SSRS and Power BI. You will also be involved In building a self-serve area for reports, getting the company into a more proactive position with their data.

4 months (initial contract)
Hybrid-remote (London)
£300/day (Outside IR35)
Start date - ASAP
Key responsibilities:
Manage the provision of high-quality performance data and analysis to help develop, deliver, and improve services across the Group.
Facilitate report and dashboard development in SSRS and Power BI report layers plus direct SQL query/view/procedure builds in SQL Server.
Develop and design system databases front-end applications and languages needed to write and support these (i.e. Microsoft Access Forms (VBA), Win Forms, ASP.NET (C#))
Maintain an expertise in key systems configuration - advising the business on best options, setting up test and live configuration to maximise efficiency and best practice collection and usage of data
Develop Stored Procedures, SQL Server Job Management.
Deliver Data Modelling, Data Analysis, designing/development & Implementation of Business Intelligence/Data Integration & Data Warehouse (where not contracted to a 3rd party).
Coach end users on in-house database front end applications and advanced functions of some 3rd party software (i.e. CRM and Agile).
Key Skills / Experience:
Building and supporting all areas of business with the creation of automated reports using SSRS & Power BI
Assisting in translating businesses processes into data requirements for reporting and aiding the development of ETL systems for Data ingestion into the Data Warehouse.
Working with the wider business to gather requirements from business users and translate to meaningful dashboards and reports
