Key Responsibilities:
As the Supply Chain & Senior Transport Manager, you will be responsible for end-to-end supply chain management and transport logistics across several sites.
Your core duties will include:
* Supply Chain Management: Oversee the entire supply chain process, ensuring timely procurement, delivery, and distribution of materials to construction sites.
* Transport Logistics: Manage the transport fleet, optimising routes, vehicle usage, and ensuring compliance with legal and safety regulations.
* Multi-Site Operations: Coordinate and manage supply chain and transport logistics across multiple locations, ensuring seamless operations.
* Vendor & Supplier Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and logistics partners to secure the best terms and ensure the timely delivery of materials.
* Inventory Management: Work closely with warehouse teams to ensure accurate stock control and efficient material flow across the supply chain.
* Cost Control: Monitor and control logistics and transport costs, ensuring efficient budgeting and cost-saving initiatives.
* Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all transport and supply chain operations meet health and safety standards and regulatory compliance.
* Team Leadership: Manage and lead a team of supply chain, warehouse, and transport staff, ensuring productivity and performance standards are met.
* Risk Management: Identify potential supply chain and transportation risks, developing mitigation strategies to minimise disruptions.
* Performance Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on supply chain efficiency, transport logistics, and operational performance.

The ideal candidate for this role will have extensive experience in supply chain management and transport logistics within the construction industry or a related sector.
You will need:
* Proven track record in managing supply chain and transport operations for multi-site locations.
* Strong understanding of procurement, inventory management, and logistics planning.
* Extensive knowledge of transport regulations, fleet management, and route optimisation.
