The Project

As an experienced Administrator you will be based from the Nottingham office supporting the site teams on new build social housing projects across the region.

Requirements

For this role it is essential that you hold the experience below;

Experience working in an administrative position within the residential build sector is advantageous however all applicants with a proven history of working within any construction sector are of interest
At least 3 years of experience working in an administrative position in the industry

Basic understanding of budgeting, cost tracking, and financial reporting
The ability to respond to inquiries and probe into any discrepancies as necessary
Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office package including Outlook, Word and Excel
A keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy in documentation and compliance with regulations
Solid understanding of relevant safety standards and regulations in the construction industryThe Role

Job Title: Administrator
Job Type: Freelance
Project: New build social housing developments
Location: Central Nottingham, Nottinghamshire
Duration: 12 months
Reporting to: Office ManagerDuties

Team communications
Handling incoming emails and mail
Oversee and maintain office systems
Receiving and replying to email queries
Ensure records are consistently updated
Printing, scanning binding / filing documents
Management of PPE for new starters and visitors
Offering assistance to the Project team as needed
Use Outlook, Word and Excel on a day-to-day basis
Greeting visitors and staff whilst managing building access
Creating high-quality documents, reports, and presentations
Liaising with staff and clients in an effective and professional manner
Ensure the team is compliant with all company standards and procedures
Providing general administrative support to the team and Directors as needed
Monitor project costs, checking them against the budget, and reporting any differences
Administrating site documents such as blueprints, contracts, safety records, and project plans
Verify that all documentation is well-organized, up-to-date, and readily accessible to authorised personnel
Oversee health and safety regulations are followed by tracking safety protocols, keeping safety records, and confirming all workers have the necessary certifications and training
Providing regular updates and reports to senior management on the progress of the project, potential risks, or any issues that arise on-site
Coordinating communication between contractors, site managers, clients, and suppliers for smooth project operations
Track attendance, hours worked, and overall site activities while managing payroll records and processing timesheets
