Home-Based IT Account Manager

Job Opportunity:
In this role, you will report directly to the Sales Manager and be responsible for selling our client's IT products and services. Your main tasks will include cold calling to generate new business and handling customer service inquiries. A key part of the role is consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets, as well as taking advantage of any opportunity to promote IT services.
You will act as the main point of contact for your customers and collaborate with other departments within the team. A proactive attitude is essential, as you will be expected to attract new business and build lasting relationships with customers and prospects.
You will also work closely with the technical department on projects and sales opportunities. Part of your responsibility includes ensuring that any goods purchased are acquired at the best possible price. You will manage your own purchasing from distributors and suppliers.
This role requires a motivated and dedicated individual who is ready to drive business growth while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Experience:
• A competitive nature
• Previous IT sales experience - 1+ years minimum
• IT Reseller or IT MSP experience essential
• Strong presentation and negotiating skills
• Confidence, tact and a persuasive manner
• A genuine interest in IT/ product knowledge
