Job Description
Urgently looking to recruit a Groundworks Site Supervisor for a permanent role in the Northwest / Yorkshire region, for a renowned main contractor. Here's a summary of the key points:
Position Overview:
Job Title: Groundworks Site Supervisor
Location: Northwest/ Yorkshire
Salary: £48,000 -£50,000 per annum(£24 per hour PAYE)
Company: Main contractor with a 30-year trading history, specialising in new build care homes with a turnover exceeding £100 million.
Benefits:
Bonus: Company bonus paid 6 monthly (June and December) usually a few grand
Earnings:Opportunity to increase earningsworking over 40 hours
Annual Leave: 22 days plus bank holidays
Salary Review:Yearly salary review
Pension: 3% employee contribution
Work Hours: Early finish on Fridays
Job Role & Responsibilities:
Overseeing groundworks gangs working on new build care homes.
Work includes car parks, kerbing, drainage, flagging, utilities etc
Ability to read technical drawings andwork totight tolerances.
Collaborating with the Site Manager and attending management meetings.
Ensure health and safety policies are followed and lead by example
Ensure quality is to the right standard and mentor the team
This is a working managers role with a rough split of 70% leading the team and 30% management
Requirements:
Experience: Previous experience asa groundworker managing a team.
Education: CSCSskilled card, SSSTS or SMSTS preferred.
Skills: Proficient with all aspects of groundworks including setting out and working to line and level
License: Full UK driving license.
