Job Description

Jr. Service Representative to process incoming payments for a large banking client - 66824-1 LOB: Payments Processing Duration: 12 months (possibility of extension) Location: Hybrid - Mississauga (1 day/week; currently Wednesdays is the teams scheduled day) Working Hours: : rotating shifts - shifts are 7.5 hours/each and can span in timing from 7:30am- 6:30pm EST. This group receives and processes incoming payments from other entities worldwide electronically. The focus of these individuals will be to repair incoming payments- when payments are processed, the process of the funds transmitting from their entity can error out- these reps will correct this route and ensure payments can process through their queue to the correct entity. This role operates exclusively as a back-office function- there is no customer facing element to the role. Must-Have Skills: Experience in a service representative processing payments Typing speed of 50 words/minute at minimum Banking/Fi exp Nice to Have Skills: Bilingualism (French/English) Previous financial teller experience Solid knowledge of general geography - this team handles transfers worldwide, and it can be helpful for candidates to have a good understanding of where countries are located and the currencies they leverage Job Responsibilities: Repairing wire payments Ensuring wire payments are processed with no process errors Receiving payments in differing currencies and manually keying the funds into the correct currency in alignment with the customer’s bank account Working through their request queue with both speed and accuracy Candidate must complete a typing test Apply
