Our valued Financial client is actively seeking a Bilingual Intermediate Java / Angular Developer to support a client with web application rewrite with Angular framework. Initial 6-month contract with possibility of extension or permanency working hybrid (2 days onsite) in Montreal, QC. Responsibilities: Migrate older legacy application screens to Angular as well as develop and maintain user-facing features using Angular. Collaborate with other developers to integrate APIs and other services. Work in resolving bugs. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in Java. Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies. Must-Haves: 5 years (Angular) experience. Experience with Java Experience with GitHub Must have excellent communication skills in French and English. Nice to Haves : Familiarity with OpenShift, Jenkins, Jira and Confluence. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Knowledge in SOAP, XML and ThymeLeaf. Apply
