Job Description
Content Marketing Manager Location Address: 100 Yonge Street 5th Floor - Hybrid model (6 days a Month in office) Contract Duration: ASAP 9 months The Manager, Content Marketing, contributes to the overall success of the Bank's Global Asset Management ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures. Project: Creating content for dynamic funds website and supporting the business by working closely with product managers, the sales team, and other stakeholders within the business. Responsibilities: • Champions a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge. • Leads the research and development of engaging content and commentaries around financial and advice-themed concepts • Acts as the content expert for SGAM and broader teams on topics of financial planning, literacy, and practice management in support of customer-focused campaigns and other initiatives. • Responsible for working together with internal stakeholders to translate industry trends into timely content that can be leveraged across SGAM and amplified through social media. • Manages and provide insights to vendors/external resources in the development of content, ensuring all approvals are obtained by stakeholders and compliance of content use. • Works closely with strategic industry partners to manage content syndication program • Actively finds opportunities to leverage and amplify communications across brands and the bank. • Provides direction and guidance throughout the development of marketing campaigns and national initiatives. • Champions a high-performance environment and demonstrates a commitment to Scotiabank’s values: accountability, passion, integrity and respect. Must Have Skills: • 8 years of financial communications experience with a demonstrated portfolio of work in the financial services industry • Demonstrated knowledge of marketing strategy, planning and communications. • Proficient with Microsoft Office • Experience in a similar role within the financial sector, preferably with an investment firm • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills is a must Nice-To-Have Skills: • Completion of financial industry courses an asset (e.g., Canadian Securities Course, CFP, CFA) Education: Post-secondary degree or diploma and demonstrated experience preferably with specialization in Marketing, Business or Communications Best VS. Average Candidate: The best candidate is someone who has experience in a financial industry in a similar role with exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills.
