Intermediate Asset Management Coordinator to support efficiency and cost savings around asset management and licensing

Our valued client is looking for an Intermediate Asset Management Coordinator to support efficiency and cost savings around asset management and licensing . This is a hybrid role in Ottawa, Montreal, or Halifax. Tasks include: Gather requirements and conduct usage analysis around Software Asset Management Analyze software and hardware maintenance contracts in order to ensure timely renewals, identify areas of risk and report as required on software license compliance, as well as areas for cost savings/reductions Populate asset monitoring tools, development or enhancements of procurement and distribution processes to ensure accurate tracking of the various IT assets Tracking hardware assets and determining the retirement schedule for critical hardware assets including monitoring and mitigation of technology debts Attend vendor meetings as required to assist with software or hardware negotiations and relationship management Create, update, monitor, and maintain software licenses in the asset management database, as well as monitoring application usage, and reporting compliance of software usage Highlight opportunities to target unused or restricted software for reclamation Participate in project meetings as required to identify potential impacts to software or hardware standards due to application and infrastructure changes Assess data accuracy and reasonableness and follow-up directly clients appropriately to achieve necessary understanding and to resolve the licensing or hardware anomalies Must have: Eligible for Secret clearance with the Federal Government Prior experience in a Software Asset asset management role Nice to have: Experience with hardware life cycle including inventory tracking & asset tagging, standards creation, procurement & planning, sanitization & disposal Experience working with 3rd party vendors Apply
