Senior Tailings Engineer

We have an amazing opportunity for a Senior Tailings Engineer based in Cape Town Industry: Civil/Mining Engineering Level: Senior Key Responsibilities: · Design, review, and manage tailings structures throughout all project stages: pre-feasibility, feasibility, detailed design, construction, operations, and closure. · Supervise mine waste facilities and project management activities. · Write reports and proposals, and mentor junior staff. Key Requirements: · BEng or BSc in Civil/Mining Engineering · Registered Professional Engineer · 7 years of experience in tailings management. · Strong technical skills in tailings management, geotechnics, heap leaching, and water management. Personal Attributes: · Effective multitasker with strong project management skills. · Proactive and client-focused with excellent problem-solving abilities. · Team player who thrives in both office and site environments. · Willingness to travel and engage in international projects.
