Financial Accountant

Job & Company Description: This organization, based in the eastern part of Johannesburg, is on the lookout for a seasoned Accountant to join their vibrant finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing and reviewing forecasts and budgets against actual results, ensuring the accuracy of the budgeting system. Key duties include completing and reconciling monthly accruals, provisions, journals, fixed assets, and depreciation schedules, as well as addressing discrepancies. The candidate will assist with budgeting and forecasting, ensure compliance with accounting standards, collaborate with external auditors, and perform analytical reviews of financial reports. Additionally, they will maintain current accounting policies and support various accounting and reconciliation tasks, contributing to the overall financial integrity of the organization.
