As the Automotivel Business Development Manager, you will design and execute business strategies to build a network of high-value automotive industry targets, nurture relationships, and close opportunities. You will educate customers on the technologies our client offers and guide them how to best integrate marking solutions into their manufacturing processes.

What You'll Do:

The role of the Automotive Business Development Manager is to develop, maintain, and grow account volume and gross profit for the company in the medical industry.

• Design and develop business strategies to achieve organizational goals and objectives. Use automotive market knowledge to identify and develop the company's value proposition and close high-value opportunities.

• Lead the development of business and growth objectives; work to support and exceed those objectives.

• Track industry market data, including but not limited to: market development, projects, competitive activity, customer data, etc.

• Develop and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners. Create new business opportunities through pre-existing relationships, on-site meetings, etc.

• Work with key account decision makers to expand the company footprint across multiple plant locations and secure strategic supplier status.

• Coordinate internal efforts to support your sales strategy.

• Participate in the creation, execution, and on-going improvement of business proposals.

• Ensure that projects are meeting client's needs, concerns, and objectives while maintaining company profitability.

• Assess wins and losses to impact future project strategies.

• Leverage experience and expertise in the medical industry to target new major accounts.

• Travel to potential customer sites to conduct demos, application review, and post-sales support/relationship nurturing.
