PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The AWP Data Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the implementation of Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) for new construction projects. The role involves creating and maintaining Virtual Construction Models (VCM) by integrating data from internal and external 3D design models, ensuring these models and data are accurately configured to support construction and installation activities. The AWP Data Coordinator collaborates closely with discipline leads, the AWP Manager, and workface planners, contributing to Worley's mission of delivering sustainable change through innovative project solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and maintain the Virtual Construction Data Model (VCM) to streamline project execution.
  • Gather and integrate 3D model data from various sources, ensuring alignment with the project's AWP requirements.
  • Configure data integrations between global toolsets and project-specific applications to optimize construction management.
  • Collaborate with the design team to enhance 3D design models with required attributes, supporting project execution.
  • Assist in troubleshooting issues related to construction management applications, ensuring efficient resolution.
  • Coordinate data and model synchronization with both internal and subcontractor detailers and modelers to maintain consistency across disciplines.
  • Facilitate the processing and approval of shop/fabrication-level data and models for project use.

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, with extensive experience in the EPC/EPCM industry.
  • Expertise in 3D modeling and Building Information Modeling (BIM), with proficiency in industry-standard software such as Smart 3D, E3D, Tekla, Isogen Spoolgen, Navisworks, and iConstruct.
  • Strong familiarity with construction management processes and a solid understanding of engineering design drawings.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including power query for efficient data analysis and manipulation.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot, manage, and maintain diverse construction and engineering software applications.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment, prioritize tasks effectively, and solve complex project-related problems.
  • Deep understanding of the EPC project lifecycle, including deliverables, workflows, and engineering systems such as Aveva Engineering, Aveva Net, and Aveva ERM.
  • Experience with document management systems (e.g., Aconex), material management systems, and registry management for efficient project execution.
