The COMET contract provides overall management and implementation of ground systems capabilities, flight hardware processing, and launch operations at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida. These tasks will support the International Space Station, Ground Systems Development and Operations, and the Space Launch System, Orion Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle, and Launch Services programs.

Responsibilities

· Review, track, and communicate status of development activities and non-conformances.

· Officiate Configuration Control Panels and review development activities in preparation for Configuration Control Panels.

· Prepare Configuration Control Panel agendas and meeting minutes. Author, review, and distribute Configuration Management notifications.

· Maintain COTS software inventory. Develop and review configuration management plans, policies, processes and desktop instructions.

· Utilize software tools including Jama, ClearQuest, AccuRev, Windchill, Sharepoint, and Maximo to perform CM duties.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Flexible Schedule and Telework

This position will require full on-site work, Monday through Friday, until completion of the first 90 days of employment. Upon completion of your first 90 days, telework options will be made available (3 days on-site / 2 days remote). Telework opportunities are based on satisfactory job performance.
