Job Role: LDAP Solution Architect & Administration

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Technical/Functional Skills:

• Net IQ eDirectory
• Oracle LDAP
• UNIX skills
• Scripting, Python, Ansible

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Net IQ EDirectory and Oracle LDAP.
• Experience with directory service migrations between datacenter on premise /cloud.
• Install, configure, and maintain LDAP servers and supporting infrastructure.
• Automate routine tasks using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot LDAP-related issues.
• Backup and restore LDAP data regularly.
• Document all administrative procedures and configurations.
• Strong understanding of directory service security best practices.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Integrate LDAP with other IT systems and applications for user authentication and authorization.
• Provide technical support to users and other IT staff regarding LDAP access and functionality.
• Collaborate with other IT teams on projects related to identity and access management (IAM).
• Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.

This should be added with OS Proficiency (Unix) and hands on knowledge in automation through Ansible and Terraform.
