Generically, what we're looking for in a candidate is:
- Senior level Cisco Network Engineer with 5+ yrs of experience
- Strong cisco network design, deployment, and documentation skills
- Strong ability to self-manage, organize, and prioritize workload
- Strong communication skills to negotiate work scope, apprise project team, and to resolve issues by involving others
- Highly skilled with Cisco Switch Stacking, Layer2 (Trunk, LACP, STP design), Layer3 (BGP, SVI)
- Able to make recommendations to Architect on design, and able to flex to use company standards or other best practices
- Able to document implementation design and guide team through physical installation
- Strong implementation skills & experience
- Configuration according to best practices
- System hardening according to Cisco guides
- Strong implementation skills & experience
- Cisco CCNP level experience for 5+ yrs
- Switch Stacking
- Fiber interconnections (20-40K SMF, Local MMF)
- LACP Port Channels
- Strong hands-on understanding of subnetting and IP Address planning
- BGP
- L2 LACP trunks
- /30 L3 SVI's for L3 BGP establishment
- L2 Spanning Tree loop-free Design (prune appropriate VLANs on Fiber ring)
- Palo Alto experience
- FW Rules
- BGP configurations
