Job Description
The Project Engineer is responsible for:
- Interact with clients, including property owners and general contractors, to foster business relationships and generate new opportunities.
- Prepare precise cost estimates for construction projects, interpret project plans and specifications, and produce detailed quotations.
- Manage and oversee the execution of construction projects, ensuring they align with plans, specifications, and design-build documents.
- Generate HVAC load calculations and utilize AutoCAD for project design and planning.
- Collaborate with the construction manager to schedule technicians and meet project deadlines.
- Take full ownership of projects by coordinating with clients, attending on-site construction meetings, ordering equipment and subcontractors, scheduling work, and tracking costs.
- Ensure project schedules and customer requirements are met while maintaining project profitability.
- Recognize and promptly price additional work (change orders).

The Successful Applicant
The right Estimator will have:
- Mechanical Engineering Degree
- Background in HVAC through schooling or field experience
