Cyber Systems Security Engineer

PGS Worldwide is actively seeking a skilled Cyber Systems Security Engineer to support ongoing projects for an Aerospace leader in Orlando, FL. This is an initial 12-month contract-to-hire opportunity and I will respond immediately to all qualified candidates.

Job Description:

This position will require the contractor to be onsite 80% of the time.

Seeking a Cyber Systems Security Engineer who will be responsible for the identification and analysis of the cyber-attack surfaces and will implement the relevant cybersecurity controls on MFC products. The individual will be responsible for performing cybersecurity maintenance, including continuous monitoring, security updates, patching, and hardening. The engineer will also be responsible for providing cybersecurity oversight to our Systems and Software teams and providing the necessary documentation and artifacts to support and maintain any Client for MFCs products.

Other responsibilities can include:

• Providing embedded System Security Engineering design and implementation in all aspects of System Security Engineering (SSE) process in development of Department of Defense (DoD) Weapon Systems
• Assessing and mitigating System Security threats/risks throughout the embedded Weapon System development life cycle
• Validating System Security Engineering requirements decomposition, allocation and analysis for Test Systems
• Implementing System Security Engineering solutions hardware and software
• Verifying implementation of system security requirements
• Analyzing weaknesses, vulnerabilities and threats against System Security posture on product designs

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• US Citizenship
• CANDIDATES MUST HAVE 3-5 YEARS EXPERIENCE WITH THE FOLLOWING:
• Cybersecurity
• Systems Security
• Systems Analysis & Design
• Familiarity with STIGs and System Hardening
• Familiarity with Cyber tools such as Ansible, SCC, Nessus/ACAS

Desired:

• 3-5 Years of Cybersecurity Engineering experience
• 3-5 Years of Systems Engineering experience
• Systems Development
• SOP/Process Creation
