Compensation Analyst
Pay: up to $30.50 per hour
Hours: M-F, 9am - 5pm
Duration: Contract
Location: Boston, MA (Can be hybrid - 3 days on-site / 2 days remote)
Our client, based in Boston, is looking for a Compensation Analyst to assist in the development and administration of their compensation programs.
Job Description: Provide day-to-day compensation administration to support schools, units, and departments.
Assists departments with reviewing and updating position descriptions; perform market analyses and provide reports and data for compensation-related decisions.
Review positions to ensure internal and external equity and FLSA compliance.
Conduct and participate in multiple University and General Industry compensation market surveys.
Required Skills: Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required, preferably in HR, business or related field.
CCP designation preferred or taking classes towards certification.
One to three years of human resources experience, preferably compensation.
Previous higher education experience a plus!
Knowledge of applicable federal and state laws relating to compensation and pay equity.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Strong problem solving, decision-making, organizational and analytical skills.
Demonstrated ability to work with numbers and large volumes of data with accuracy and speed.
Advanced skills in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access and HRIS systems.
Working knowledge of SAP and MarketPay preferred.
