As we continue to grow, we are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Production Supervisor in our Lawrence, KS location.
The department supervisor is responsible for directing the departmental work force. The department supervisor will also coordinate all manufacturing operations, maintain schedules and administer discipline by employing a wide range of skills and techniques. All of this must be done within the prescribed policies and procedures of the company.
ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
* Plan, layout, install and repair wiring circuits in conformance with established codes.
* Install, troubleshoot, maintain and repair electronic controls that require advanced technical knowledge.
* Diagnose and remedy electrical problems utilizing wiring diagrams, schematic drawings.
* Work from oral and written instructions.
* Understand and use manuals and catalogues when ordering parts.
* Understand and comply with all parts ordering and issuing procedures.
* Maintains adherence to company policy, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices.
* Assumes other duties as assigned by supervisor.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
* Extended time on feet.
* Manual dexterity and hand to eye coordination with hand/power tools.
* Requires the ability to work off ladders, scaffolding, and scissor lifts.
* Frequent stooping, bending, walking, carrying and lifting (up to 50 pounds).
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED (EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS):
* Minimum of 2 years electrical experience.
* Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
* Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
* Ability to operate forklifts and other equipment.
* High school graduate or equivalent with additional training in electrical technology.
