EYFS level 2 Teaching Assistant/ Unqualified
Location: Aston Clinton (Buckinghamshire)
Contract: Full time
Start: September 2024
Supply Desk is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2/unqualified Teaching Assistant to join a “Good” school in the Aston Clinton area. As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our young children in the Early Years Foundation Stage. However, unquailed and general teaching assistants are welcome to apply.

The role:
Work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons that align with our educational philosophy
Provide individual support to children aged 2-5 years, tailoring activities to meet their unique needs and interests
Ensure the safety and well-being of the children during classroom activities and outdoor exploration
Assist in the creation and organization of stimulating learning environments, incorporating natural elements
Observe and assess children's progress and development, maintaining accurate records and communicating with the teaching team
Foster positive behaviour and social skills, encouraging a sense of belonging and cooperation
The ideal candidate:
Level 2 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent (e.g., CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools)
However, unqualified Teaching Assistant welcome to apply
Previous experience working as a teaching assistant in an early years setting is desirable
Familiarity with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, parents, and colleagues effectively
Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach to create a supportive learning environment
Proactive, adaptable, and a strong team player
