We're looking for a dedicated safeguarding and Attendance lead to join our supportive team at Wishmore Cross School.

You're someone who'll be able to:

  • To monitor and report on whole-school attendance data, using data to identify key areas of concern.
  • You will be able to work closely with pupils, staff, parents and carers to reduce levels of absence, and act appropriately when persistent absence becomes a safeguarding issue.

Looking to make a difference every day?

Join our team and play a vital role in ensuring our students receive the education they deserve. You'll provide invaluable support to delivering an excellent education to every child, in every classroom, every day.

You're someone who has:

  • A strong background in a school environment, including experience as a Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) or Deputy DSL.
  • Proven track record in identifying and implementing effective interventions to improve student attendance.
  • The ability to support students, staff, and families in creating a safe and engaging educational atmosphere.

This is an opportunity to make a tangible impact on the lives of young people.

Wishmore Cross School is part of Lift schools, Wishmore Cross is a special school in Chobham, Surrey, for boys aged 7 to 16 years who have social, emotional and mental health difficulties.
