Facilities Maintenance Manager
East London
Package
Salary: £60,000 per annum
Travel/Fuel: £2,500 per annum
Holiday: 24 days per annum + Bank Holidays

Start: ImmediateAlecto Recruitment are assisting a leading Facilities Maintenance contractor based in London, who are looking to appoint a Facilities Manager to oversee two large prestigious sites in the East London area.
The role:
The role of Facilities Manager will be to oversee all aspects of the facilities maintenance on the landlord site, including plant rooms, energy centres and all life safety systems. It will not be working within residential apartments or concierges.
Duties:
Review and approve subcontractor and internal planned & Reactive maintenance reports to ensure compliance is met.
Management of reactive & planned works to ensure that works are completed within agreed contractual KPI's.
Accurate quoting of service remedial work, reactive work & emergency callouts.
Scrutinization of subcontractor remedial/reactive quotations.
Procurement of materials for reactive work & service remedial works.
Management of site critical spares.
Direct communication with the client on all aspects of our contractual obligations within reasonable time frames
Direct communication with subcontractors on all aspects of their contractual obligations.
Client purchase orders are scrutinized, tracked and filed away for invoicing.
Management of the site administrator to ensure that their roles and responsibilities are being carried out to an acceptable level.
Management of internal site engineers to ensure that they are working efficiently and to an acceptable standard. Inclusive of witnessing works being carried out.
Project inspection walk around with Operations Manager, monthly, to identify any H&S or asset operational issues.
PDF project report to be populated and issued to the Operations Manager & Operations Director, monthly.
Attributes
To be Client facing with fluent English written and spoken.
To be able to communicate technical issues to engineers and client.
Organized and self-driven.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Reliable and willing to learn M&E Systems.
