Senior Principal Designer

A dynamic, multidisciplinary firm specialising in both Architecture and Building Consultancy is seeking a highly skilled Principal Designer to join their Bristol office.

This is a unique opportunity to be the first Principal Designer based in Bristol, joining a company who already have a massive, strong CDM and Principal Design team in London.

The Principal Designer Role

You will have the opportunity to work across both the consultancy and architecture sides of the business, focusing initially on challenging refurbishment projects in sectors such as healthcare, education, prisons, and transport.

This role offers excellent career progression, with the opportunity to advance to Associate Director in a short time frame. You will also collaborate with the London-based CDM team, as well as have the chance to influence and build a brand-new team in Bristol.

The Principal Designer

Extensive experience in delivering Principal Designer and CDM services
Strong background in construction or design consultancy
NEBOSH Construction Certificate and IOSH/APS membership preferred
Ability to manage and lead projects autonomously, with a strategic mindset for future team development
Experience working on complex refurbishments within healthcare, education, and transport sectors will be highly regarded
